Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager with Crew to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, manage a dedicated crew, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in construction management, electrical systems, and project scheduling will drive efficiency and safety on-site. Duties
- Lead and supervise construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications
- Develop detailed project plans using tools like Primavera P6 and Construction estimating software to establish timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Oversee daily site operations, including coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to maintain smooth workflow
- Read blueprints, schematics, and system design documents to verify compliance with project requirements and technical standards such as NEC (National Electrical Code)
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress reports
- Utilize ProCore and Bluebeam for project management tasks such as tracking progress, documenting issues, and facilitating communication among stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations, including electrical safety standards and construction site best practices
- Monitor project schedules closely to identify potential delays early and implement corrective actions promptly
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality control measures are met and troubleshoot technical challenges related to electrical engineering or system design
Skills
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on electrical systems and heavy civil projects
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Primavera P3; familiarity with HeavyBid is a plus
- Expertise in construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract management
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in using digital tools like ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation and communication
- Deep understanding of NEC electrical codes, system design principles, and electrical engineering fundamentals
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and translate them into actionable on-site tasks
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of safety and quality assurance
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate crew members and foster a collaborative team environment
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
