Fryborg is an award-winning, locally-owned restaurant & food truck based in Trumbull, CT that specializes in nostalgic American comfort food, and we're looking for cooks who know their stuff.
We need people who have a brain and like to use it. You'll make amazing, nostalgic comfort food that people love. Although our menu is simple, it's big on flavor, and we don't believe in dumbing down our food.
Interacting with customers is occasionally a part of this job, so you must be good with people and know how to be polite, respectful, and positive.

We are looking for people who are available to work Sundays. There are other shifts available as well, but Sunday availability is a requirement to be hired for this position.
Main responsibilities will include:
- food prep & basic cleaning
- cooking food to order for our adoring fans
- using your knowledge to help us create awesome specials
- working on our food truck at events
Other Good Qualities to Have:
- fast learner
- energetic, friendly, and outgoing
- being a certified food safety manager (helpful but not required)
Our restaurant and food truck are based in Trumbull, and our food truck travels to a lot of events in Fairfield and New Haven counties.
Pay is dependent upon skill & experience.
Hourly wage plus tips from catered events on the truck.
