About the Role:
Join Hill Top Winery as a part time Host in Valley Center, CA! In this exciting role, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for their experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Manage reservations and waitlists to optimize seating efficiency.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials.
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries regarding the restaurant.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in training new hosts and providing support as needed.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues with professionalism.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional service.
- Basic knowledge of reservation systems is a plus.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
