Mati Logistics is building the operating system for global shippers. We're automating the full purchase-order-to-receipt traffic flow, from origin booking confirmations, through container loading and ocean transit, to final delivery at the fulfillment center. Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a Global Logistics Analyst. You'll work alongside our product and engineering team to translate how global shipping actually operates into software that can do it automatically. Your day-to-day will include reviewing real shipper workflows, mapping data flows between ERP systems, freight forwarders, and fulfillment partners, and helping us decide which manual steps to automate first. You'll be the person who can look at a forwarded booking email and tell us what to extract, what to ignore, and what edge cases will eventually break our parser.
What you'll do
- Analyze real shipper data (POs, packing lists, BOLs, container manifests) to identify patterns and edge cases
- Map workflows between origin vendors, freight forwarders, and destination operations teams
- Spot the gaps where manual reconciliation is happening today and propose what to automate next
- Partner with engineering to validate that what we build matches operational reality
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret logistics and supply chain data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Experience in global logistics — ideally with hands-on exposure to ocean freight, container booking, or import/export operations
- Familiarity with the documents that move with cargo (BOL, packing list, commercial invoice, arrival notice) and how they flow between origin, forwarder, and destination
- Experience with ERP exports, freight forwarder portals, or building/maintaining a traffic tracking sheet at a previous role
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
