We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Warehouse Specialist to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate material handling, inventory control, and equipment maintenance to support smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has prior warehouse or manufacturing experience and is comfortable operating forklifts and lifting equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the correct quantity and correct materials are issued for production and orders
- Perform weekly cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy
- Check incoming materials into the computer system and store them in designated areas
- Identify and separate non-conforming materials to prevent accidental use
- Raise awareness of processes that contribute to errors and suggest improvements
- Maintain warehouse equipment (forklifts, storage racks, pallet jacks, PCs) according to guidelines
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Experience with inventory systems
- Forklift operation (stand-up and sit-down)
- Experience using lifting assist equipment (cranes, hoists)
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
