Objective:
Provide campus-level assistance with daily duties and responsibilities of Compass Students to support the mission of navigating more students, leaders, and parents to God.
Essential Job Functions:

Every staff member is expected to fully engage in the ministry of the church. This includes attending a weekend service and tithing.
- Provide administrative support for the Student Ministry team at the campus-level.

Coordinate volunteer communication and assist in ensuring volunteers have the resources, materials, and information needed to serve effectively.
- Support volunteer onboarding, scheduling, background checks, and database management.
- Maintain and manage student ministry records within Rock, including attendance, small group rosters, volunteer records, and parent communication lists.
- Create, schedule, and distribute parent and volunteer communications through email, text and other approved channels.

Assist with event planning and logistics for student ministry activities, conferences, campus, retreats and outreach events.
- Work alongside the Student Ministry team to coordinate the annual Student Conference, including registrations, vendor coordination, supplies, schedules, and event logistics.

Coordinate printing requests, promotional materials, and ministry resources with the Communications team.

Manage ministry calendars, meeting schedules, room reservations, and event timelines.

Track ministry budgets, process invoices, purchase requests, reimbursements, and other administrative documentation as assigned.

Attend all Compass Church staff meetings, campus team meetings and Compass Students team meetings.

Uphold Compass Church’s mission, core values, and 12 Staff Commandments.

Work in conjunction with the Central Students Administrator on events and projects.

Help with Wednesday night operations including check-in and coordinating with IT as problems/challenges arise.

Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the Student Ministry team.
Work Schedule:
- 25 hours per week. Schedule TBD by campus.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of administrative or general office support, preferably within a church, nonprofit, or educational setting.

Software Proficiency: High fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is required. Ability to use Excel and learn new applications for reporting, accounting and database management

Church Management Systems: Familiarity with or the ability to quickly learn church management and scheduling tools such as Planning Center and Rock RMS.

Database Management: Accurate record-keeping skills to maintain student profiles, track attendance, and process medical/conduct waiver forms.

Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The role requires acting as a liaison between the Campus Student Pastor, parents, students, and central ministry teams.

Confidentiality: The ability to handle sensitive family and student information with discretion and integrity.

Must be administrative-minded and organized.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college coursework, or an associate/bachelor's degree in business, communications, or ministry is preferred.
