The DuPage County Health Department is seeking an Accountant who brings strong technical expertise along with a commitment to supporting programs that make a meaningful impact in DuPage County. This role will focus on grants and will touch all facets of accounting - including budgeting, reconciliation, audit, and contract review.
In this position, you will support the Finance/Accounting Team, Department Leadership, and Program Managers while contributing to work that directly benefits the residents we serve
This position works out of our Wheaton location, and is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) benefited position. The regular schedule for this position includes working from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
Completion of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance; or an Equivalent combinations of training and experience may be considered for preferred qualifications. Preferred experience in government accounting
