Full-Time | W-2 Employee | Approximately $800+ Weekly, Plus $100–$1,000 Monthly Bonus Potential
Boss Up Braiding is seeking a licensed, experienced Salon Manager to lead daily operations, team performance, client experience, training, scheduling, and salon standards. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can coach with clarity, hold a team accountable, and protect a luxury client experience.
What You’ll Do
· Build and manage weekly schedules based on client demand and business needs.
· Lead opening and closing procedures, security, sanitation, and cash protocols.
· Track and report team performance indicators and salon results.
· Coach stylists on service pace, client experience, professionalism, and goals.
· Lead team huddles and individual performance check-ins.
· Train and evaluate salon assistants and junior team members.
· Support new-hire skill trials, probationary reviews, and advancement decisions.
· Resolve client concerns and escalate complex matters appropriately.
· Consistently administer dress, phone, attendance, conduct, and sanitation standards.
· Manage products, inventory, supplies, maintenance, and safety reporting.
· Coordinate front-desk operations, client flow, rebooking, and review growth.
What We’re Looking For
· Active Florida cosmetology license.
· Three or more years of braiding or salon experience, including at least one year in leadership.
· Strong salon-operations knowledge; Vagaro and Gusto experience is preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to coach, organize, communicate, and create accountability.
· Strong knowledge of sanitation and Florida Board of Cosmetology standards.
· Ability to pass a background check.
