Plumber Job description
MUST HAVE A JOURNEYMAN LICENSE. We are looking to partner with a qualifying party to offer plumbing services at our home services company with a Journeyman Plumbers License with qualifying experience and skills. Job options include field and no field time.
PLEASE NOTE: Having hand tools and equipment that you can use on the job is a plus. All tools are covered under insurance and replaceable by the business.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures based on job requirements
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and functionality of plumbing systems
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide timely solutions
- Successfully bid and win jobs for on-site solutions in line with our options approach
Experience:
- Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use power tools and other equipment relevant to the trade
- Experience in remodeling projects is a plus
Skills:
- Proficient in various plumbing techniques, including soldering, welding, and pipe threading
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and provide effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and other team members
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
