Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Agent to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of insurance industry experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role involves assisting clients with insurance products, policy management, and providing exceptional support throughout the customer journey.
Duties
- Assist clients in selecting insurance products that best meet their needs.
- Generate and maintain new business opportunities through prospecting and referrals.
- Service existing accounts, including policy changes, renewals, and claims support.
- Explain coverage options, policy terms, and insurance requirements to clients.
- Process applications and maintain accurate customer records.
- Follow up with clients regarding policy renewals and outstanding documentation.
- Work closely with carriers and underwriters to resolve customer inquiries.
- Meet individual and team sales and customer service goals.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry required.
- Active insurance license preferred (or ability to obtain one).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and insurance management systems.
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour
