Job description:Overview: Provides oversight of interior and exterior maintenance of residential facilities, grounds, and equipment to program locations. Works in conjunction with, and under the supervision of the Facilities Manager and Program Director. Provide assistance to employed and or contracted facilities technicians when necessary. Provide excellent customer service and communication to residents, tenants and employees of respective sites.Requirements:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Buildium.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects.
- At least 5 years of experience working within a relevant field or position.
- Working knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, appliances, pumping, heating, air conditioning, drywall, boilers.
- Working knowledge of 1) City Building / Fire Codes related to Multi Family Housing 2) Fair Housing requirements 3) Department of Human Services, Bureau of Children and Adult Licensing 4) Accreditation body (CARF).
- Experience with property maintenance - snow removal, landscaping, etc. highly desired.
- Have the ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues/turn projects timely and efficiently.
- Ability to understand and implement all TLRRS policies and procedures as written.
- Preference given to those whom posses own basic tools and reliable transportation.
- Clear of having been administratively determined by a federal, state, or local government to have committed abuse or neglect. Zero criminal history as it related to human service, as outlined by Michigan law.
- Valid Michigan drivers license.
- Ability to pass a post job offer physical examination, a TB test, and have the ability to list and carry 50 lbs.
- The ability to communicate expressively and receptively in order to follow individual plan requirements, reports, and activities performed.
- Present self in a professional manner at all times, including hygiene and dress.
