Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Manager to oversee the operations of our residential care facility. Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the residential facility, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Supervise staff and provide training on best practices related to resident care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs, including medication administration and first aid protocols.
- Ensure that the facility remains clean and well-maintained, promoting a healthy living environment for residents.
- Advocate for resident rights and foster an atmosphere of respect and dignity within the community.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate medical services and support for residents.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance service delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in a management role within a retirement home, group home, or memory care facility is preferred.
- Strong understanding of care systems and best practices in residential management.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and medication administration protocols is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff members.
