Job Description: A Cut Above Lawn Care is looking for a highly experienced lawn maintenance professional to join our team. We are seeking someone with at least 5 years of professional lawn maintenance experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and can work independently with minimal supervision.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who understands the difference between simply cutting grass and delivering a clean, professional finished product.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional lawn maintenance experience REQUIRED
- Expert-level skills with weedwhacking/string trimming
- Expert-level skills operating commercial mowing equipment
- Ability to consistently create clean edges and a professional finished appearance
- Experience with edging, blowing, and property cleanup
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather conditions
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Crew leader experience
- Experience operating commercial zero-turn mowers
- Experience driving trucks and pulling trailers
- Ability to identify and solve property maintenance issues without constant direction
Hours:
- April–October: approximately 35–38 hours per week
- November–March: approximately 20–25 hours per week
- Year-round work available
