Schedule: 8-hour shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM plus one weekend day a month
Insync Consulting is seeking organized Healthcare Scheduler to coordinate staff and provider schedules, ensuring seamless clinic operations and exceptional patient care. What You'll Do
As a Healthcare Scheduler, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate and efficient schedules for clinic staff and providers by:
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive staff and provider schedules to ensure appropriate daily coverage.
- Managing schedules in UKG (Kronos), including real-time updates for staffing changes.
- Responding quickly to last-minute schedule adjustments due to call-outs, emergencies, or changing patient volumes.
- Publishing schedules on a regular cadence and communicating updates clearly to staff.
- Coordinating weekend and holiday rotations to ensure fair and adequate coverage.
- Processing time-off requests, verifying eligibility, obtaining approvals, and arranging appropriate coverage.
- Tracking attendance and staff availability while escalating concerns to leadership when appropriate.
- Partnering with HR and Payroll to reconcile schedules with approved leave and time records.
- Performing routine schedule audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies, labor regulations, and departmental guidelines.
- Monitoring overtime, work-hour limits, and scheduling compliance.
- Preparing staffing reports and workforce analytics using UKG, Excel, and Tableau to support operational decision-making.
- Identifying opportunities to improve scheduling processes and operational efficiency.
- Assisting with additional administrative and operational projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting.
- Experience using UKG (Kronos).
- Experience using Epic or FAST scheduling systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
