American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an ICU position in South Florida, requiring a minimum of two years of recent ICU experience, prior travel experience, and an active FL or Compact RN license.

ICU position in an acute care hospital setting
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
-
Every other weekend required
-
Holiday coverage required as needed

Float requirement as needed

Hurricane emergency staffing sign-up is required

Active FL or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications required at time of consideration: BLS and ACLS (both via AHA or ARC), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum 2 years of recent, full-time ICU experience required; experience must be consecutive within the past 24 months in a US hospital

Prior travel nursing experience required

Experience in SICU, MICU, or Trauma is preferred

Epic EMR experience required

Degree must be from an accredited school, or from an institution approved by the Florida Board of Nursing (FBON) combined with 2 years of recent consecutive acute care experience

Must be able to pass a Basic Arrhythmia/EKG assessment (pass/fail)

Local candidates within a 60-mile radius of the facility are eligible to apply

Proof of vaccination status is required; declinations are not accepted

Candidates must pass a Basic Arrhythmia assessment prior to starting; if 100% is not scored on lethal rhythms, a retake (Dysrhythmia Exam B) must be completed within 24 hours and passed with an overall Angoff score of 83% or higher, 100% on lethal rhythms, and 83% on all other sections
