Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and industrial machinery using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, transmission repairs, brake servicing, suspension adjustments, and wheel alignments.
- Repair and maintain farm machinery, power tools, hydraulic systems, air brakes, shocks & struts, and HVAC systems for various vehicles and equipment.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to execute mechanical systems repair and assembly tasks efficiently.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems within automotive electrical systems and vehicle systems for trucks and heavy machinery.
- Conduct tire services, heavy lifting operations, and equipment maintenance to ensure safety standards are met across all job sites.
- Document all repairs accurately, follow safety protocols diligently, and communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs or technical issues.
Skills
- Proven experience working as a mechanic with dealership or heavy equipment experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, hydraulics, transmissions, diesel engines, suspension systems, and vehicle electrical systems.
- Skilled in heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and other industrial machinery.
- Ability to read schematics accurately for diagnostics and repairs; familiarity with automotive repair software is a plus.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance procedures.
- Experience with automotive diagnostics for trucks or farm machinery; familiarity with HVAC systems is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs or installations.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
