We are a small installation company looking for good help to expand our labor force. We have all the tools and techniques available to train the right person to become an expert installer. No experience necessary. We install for several dealers around the Portland Metro area. We occasionally travel out of town for installs, but stay within Oregon.
Our work days are generally 9-5, Monday thru Friday. The day starts and ends at our shop, just outside of Wilsonville. Paid travel time from our shop to the job site and back. Our typical day consists of 4-5 installations, followed by an end of the day clean-up, and prepping for the next day. A work van and all necessary tools are provided.
We are a customer service based company, with a high attention to detail. You will be installing anything from basic blinds, to high end shades that integrate into home automation systems, including outdoor shades. This job requires someone with steady balance and who is comfortable on ladders / scaffolding. Safety is priority. I will never ask anyone to do something I wouldn't do myself.
In addition to the actual installations, the individual hired will also be expected to help with general shop duties including, but not limited to:
- Breakdown / recycling of old blinds
- Product Inventory
- General Cleaning of work van & shop
