Position Overview
The Exercise & Movement Specialist will oversee the company’s athletic and rehabilitation department.
This is for someone who can work alongside the Doctor to deliver excellent patient care. The Exercise & Movement Specialist will be in charge of their own patients' exercises with objectives to grow their patient base. The Exercise & Movement Specialist will coordinate and deliver patient care packages to their patients.
Essentially the Exercise & Movement Specialist is a part of our expanding team at well balanced body and is required to be a part of our team to best serve our community. We meet weekly to discuss patient cases and our practitioners contribute to their cases based on their findings.
Well Balanced Body is a wellness center that offers Chiropractic Applied Kinesiology, Functional Medicine / Nutrition, Low Level Light Therapy Medical Massage, Athletic Training / Movement Therapy, and custom blended herbs.

Responsibilities:,
- Patient check in & rooming patients
- Deliver patient care recommendations for exercise
- Apply passive treatment modalities: Low level light therapy, Kinesiology taping, vibration therapy etc
- Patient Integration: Work directly with chiropractors, massage therapists, and functional medicine providers to deliver exercise prescriptions that align with each patient’s care plan.
- Progressive Movement Training: Guide patients through corrective and functional exercise progressions, from foundational spinal hygiene, signature pain free movement series, and stabilization work to advanced strength and mobility training.
- Individualized Support: Adapt programs based on patient needs, injuries, and goals, providing one-on-one attention and encouragement.
- Education: Teach patients proper form, breathing mechanics, and neuromuscular re-patterning strategies that reinforce long-term healing.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure care is connected across disciplines. Working closely with our Chiropractors is key.
- Maintain accurate session notes and uphold professional standards
- Contribute to creating a supportive, healing-centered environment
Hours
T & TH 8:30-5:30pm @ our placerville clinic
as your schedule expands, the more opportunity for hours.
Requirements
- Personal Training Certificate
- Athletic Training
- Obtained a B.S. degree in exercise science(s) and/or kinesiology
Preferred Experience
- CKTP Certification
- Efficiency using electronic health records
- clinical practice experience is preferred
- Medical Assisting
