About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to contribute to the efficient flow of goods within our facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate handling, storage, and shipment of a variety of products. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be crucial in maintaining a smooth and productive operation.
Responsibilities
- Manually move and load/unload freight, ensuring accuracy and preventing damage.
- Organize and efficiently store merchandise in designated warehouse areas to optimize space.
- Accurately pick and assemble orders for shipment, preparing them for dispatch.
- Inspect freight for any signs of damage, infestation, or discrepancies, reporting any issues promptly.
- Support warehouse security measures to prevent loss and maintain a safe environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working a varied schedule, including weekends and early mornings.
- Basic computer skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Experience with distribution processes.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments.
