MIG Welder / Fabricator – 1st Shift

This position primarily involves MIG welding and finishing 18ga cold rolled steel components used in laboratory furniture manufacturing. No stainless steel or aluminum welding is required.
Responsibilities include:
- MIG welding steel laboratory furniture components
- Grinding, sanding, and finishing welded assemblies
- Using hand tools and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspecting work to ensure quality and conformance to specifications
- Maintaining clean and organized work areas
- Reporting quality concerns or production issues to supervisors
Qualifications:
- Previous MIG welding experience or welding training (min. 1 - 2 years)
- Ability to pass a weld and grinding/finishing test
- Comfortable using welders, grinders, sanders, and hand tools
- Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
