Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee a multi‑building commercial infrastructure refit project from inception to completion in the ASU campus area of Tempe, AZ. This role requires a detail‑driven PM who excels at coordination, documentation, and keeping a complex commercial project on schedule. You will manage daily on‑site operations for an Infrastructure refit across multiple buildings. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, track progress, maintain documentation, uphold safety and compliance regulations, and serve as the on‑site point of contact for project leadership.
This is a full‑time, on‑site contract position with strong potential for continuation as additional projects in the Tempe/Phoenix area begin.
Responsibilities
- On‑site project management Monday–Friday at the ASU campus area
- Oversee activities across multiple buildings
- Maintain project schedules, look‑ahead plans, and daily coordination
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries
- Work with customer and subcontractor project managers making sure all aspects of the job stay in alignment and on schedule, reporting any variations immediately
- Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation
- Provide daily/weekly reporting to leadership
- Ensure QA/QC, inspections, and compliance with campus requirements
- Support closeout and turnover documentation
Required Qualifications
- 3–10+ years of commercial construction project management
- Extensive experience in construction management across infrastructure projects with a strong understanding of construction site operations
- Proven ability to manage multi‑building or multi‑phase projects
- Proficiency with project management software (SmartSheet , MS Project, etc.)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Must be located in Phoenix/Tempe and able to be on‑site daily
- Ability to work independently and drive a project forward
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail-oriented project oversight from start to finish.
Contract Details
- Full‑time
- $100,000.00 to $135,000.00, depending on experience
- Project runs through August 2027
- Additional Tempe/Phoenix projects expected — extension highly likely
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
