The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in a general dental practice, strong clinical skills, and the ability to manage both patient care and administrative tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert chairside assistance for a wide range of dental procedures.
- Maintain optimal suction and procedural support throughout treatments.
- Take and evaluate high-quality dental radiographs.
- Assist in the fabrication and placement of provisional restorations.
- Perform dental prophylaxis when needed.
- Accurately document detailed, professional clinical notes.
- Present and close treatment plans with patients confidently.
- Manage and schedule patient appointments efficiently.
- Ensure the clinical environment is organized and spotless.
- Support team efforts in maintaining smooth patient flow and high-quality care.
- Assist with social media management when applicable.
Requirements
- Dental assisting experience in a general dental practice.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Chairside and clinical skills, including radiography, provisional restorations, and prophylaxis.
- Experience with dental software (OpenDental preferred).
- Excellent communication, organization, and patient care skills.
- Professional, reliable, and proactive, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong understanding of treatment presentation and patient engagement.
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday (Full-Time)
