About SolBe
At SolBe, we believe the family is the core of childhood development — not just the child. That means we go beyond a typical early education center: our four pillars, our teachers, and our classrooms exist to support thriving families, not just busy days. If you've ever wanted to teach somewhere that treats your relationships with children and their parents as the whole point — not a side effect — we'd love to meet you.
The Role
We're looking for an incredible, deeply special Lead Teacher for our Two's classroom — someone who brings warmth, consistency, and genuine delight to toddlers every single day, and who partners closely with families through one of the biggest transitions of early childhood. This is a full-time, lead role: you'll set the tone for the classroom, mentor any co-teachers or apprentices alongside you, and be the steady, joyful presence a two-year-old (and their parents) can count on.
Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English preferred) are strongly encouraged to apply — many of our families communicate at home in a language other than English, and being able to connect with them directly makes an enormous difference.
What You'll Do
- Lead a warm, safe, developmentally rich classroom for two-year-olds — balancing structure with the wonder and unpredictability of toddlerhood
- Build real relationships with children and communicate closely and warmly with their families, including in their home language when applicable
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate curriculum and daily routines aligned with SolBe's philosophy
- Partner with your director and teaching team on transitions, classroom needs, and family communication
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment that meets state licensing ratios and health/safety standards
- Model the consistency, patience, and warmth that helps toddlers feel secure enough to thrive
What Makes You "So Special"
- You genuinely love this age group
- Families trust you instantly, and you take that trust seriously
- You're calm under pressure and steady when a room full of two-year-olds is anything but
- You communicate proactively, not just when something's wrong
- You see teaching as relationship-building, not just supervision
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Lead Teacher in a licensed early childhood/toddler classroom (Two's experience strongly preferred)
- CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent state-required credential) — EEC Teacher Qualification
- Meets state licensing requirements for a Lead Teacher role in your state
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Reliable, warm, and truly excited to come to work
Why SolBe
- Full-time role with a real say in your classroom
- A tight-knit, family-first culture — you'll feel it from day one
- Ongoing professional development and a team that genuinely supports each other
