Maintenance Supervisor
Summary of Position:
The Maintenance Assistant provides hands-on support for the maintenance and daily operation of company facilities, tools, and construction equipment. They must be dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of performing physical work in a fast-paced construction environment.
Major Activities:
- Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of construction tools, equipment, and company property.
- Conduct inspections of tools, machinery, and work areas to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Support preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies.
- Assist with loading/unloading materials and setting up equipment as needed.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, coworkers, and other staff.
- Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to use hand tools, lubrication equipment, electric/pneumatic power tools.
- Ability or willingness to learn how to operate Aerial and Forklifts.
- Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ability to work from heights and off ladders and Aerial Lifts.
- Ability to work independently.
- Able to work some nights and weekends, as needed.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to travel to supplier or logistics partner sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical and Mechanical knowledge.
- Any experience with cranes, welders, or plasma.
