Residential Journeyman Electrician / Install Lead

Position Summary
Bill's Superior Electric is hiring a Residential Journeyman Electrician / Install Lead to run residential installation projects and lead a small crew. Sales and estimating secure the work, define scope, and stage the job before it reaches the field. Your focus is execution: lead the crew, build quality work, deliver a professional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead a crew of one to two apprentices on residential electrical installations
- Review project scope and material packages prior to mobilization
- Execute installations safely, efficiently, and to code
- Coordinate with the Service Manager and Estimating Team
- Maintain schedule without compromising quality
- Mentor apprentices and support their licensing progression
- Communicate directly and professionally with property owners
- Document work in company field management software
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and jobsite
Requirements
- Utah Residential Journeyman license, or actively completing Utah journeyman licensing requirements
- Demonstrated residential installation experience
- Ability to independently manage a project from mobilization through completion
- Leadership experience or clear interest in leading and mentoring
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Compensation and Schedule
- $25.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience, technical ability, and leadership
- Production bonuses for efficient project completion meeting quality, safety, and customer service standards
- Four-day work week: Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday, based on operational needs
- Optional overtime available
- Report to the BSE shop each morning before dispatch
