Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator

Hours: Up to 20 hours per week
Position Summary
The Asbury Park Housing Authority is seeking a Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator to support the Authority’s HR functions, including employee onboarding, personnel records management, recruitment support, policy administration, compliance tracking, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate employee onboarding and new hire paperwork.
- Maintain confidential personnel files and HR records.
- Assist with recruitment, interview scheduling, and hiring processes.
- Track employee training, certifications, and performance evaluations.
- Support HR policy implementation and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
- Prepare HR reports and administrative documentation.
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years of HR, personnel, or administrative experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and recordkeeping skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
Compensation
$65-$75 hourly
Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
