They are responsible for the operation of the property where they live, as well as neighboring properties assigned to their region of oversight.

We are currently looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and professional Residential Property Assistant to reside at one of our large and well-established communities. Additionally, there will be some neighboring properties assigned to this person.

Skills required for job success:
Experience including a background in excellent customer service and office skills.
Experience in either property management, apartment management, hotel, motel, the real estate field, retail, maintenance, sales or applicable customer service.
Must be proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English.
Sales or marketing skills.
Detail oriented and organizational skills.
Comfortable with the use of emails and computer software.
Enjoy the “apartment” community environment.
Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures including Fair Housing laws and safety practices.
High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Valid driver’s license and insured operable vehicle.
Full background check.
Neat and clean appearance.
Experienced in home maintenance and repair is great, but not required.
Duties and Responsibilities Include: answering telephone calls for inquiries and resident requests, welcome and show the property to prospective residents, leasing apartments, interacting with the residents and public in a professional and pleasant manner, collecting rent, “on call” status in accordance with scheduling to handle maintenance emergencies, complete required paperwork within timelines, cleaning of vacant apartments, change outside light bulbs as needed, inspect and maintain the cleanly condition of the outside premises and common areas. Report all unusual or emergent conditions to maintenance and/or the corporate office.
