Job Summary
Our Customer Service position can be Full-Time or have Full-Time Flexible schedules. Both options are eligible for full benefits!
As a Customer Service Representative you will work independently on property, working both indoors and outside managing the daily office tasks, retail sales, and maintaining the facility.
General Accountabilities
- Provides information about storage suites to prospective tenants.
- Leases storage suites using storage specific rental software.
- Assists customers in adoption and use of Bluetooth access system.
- Meets and greets prospective tenants.
- Determines needs and responds promptly to tenants while being pleasant, cheerful and tactful.
- Effectively explains lease policies to new and current tenants.
- Works with property manager to ensure curb appeal and property appearance meets standards. Keep surfaces and high-touch areas clean; including sweeping, dusting, mopping, debris removal, and wiping windows.
- Inspects all vacant storage suites to ensure readiness for prospective tenants.
- Accepts payments and makes collection calls when required.
- Maintains accurate, in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the property, including rent and pricing information, vacancies, availability, lease expiration's and square footage.
- Analyzes concerns associated with storage suites that are slow to lease and offers recommendations to management.
- Completes follow-up thank you notes and call-backs with prospects after initial visit.
- Prepares and assists with all leasing paperwork.
- Supports overall marketing efforts and offers input and suggestions in regard to promotions and advertisements.
- Obtains merchandise requested by customer.
- Answers customer's questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
- Totals price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill.
