Responsibilities
- Safely operate motor coaches on designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and answering questions
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking mechanical systems, brakes, lights, and tires
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and passenger counts for operational records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers using clear communication skills to coordinate schedules and address concerns
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle reliability
- Follow all safety protocols and driving regulations to ensure passenger safety at all times
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, or limousine services; delivery driver experience is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge of motor coach systems and basic maintenance procedures
- Experience operating paratransit vehicles or school buses is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with passengers and team members
- Ability to handle various driving conditions and maintain composure under pressure
- Prior experience in customer service roles demonstrating professionalism and friendliness
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations related to bus and commercial vehicle operation
