About the Position
Movers Unlimited, Inc. is looking for a dependable and energetic Freight Sorter to join our operations team. In this role, you will help ensure freight and shipments are accurately sorted, organized, and prepared for transportation. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy active, hands-on work and take pride in maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
No previous experience is required. We provide training and support to help new team members succeed.
Responsibilities
- Sort freight, packages, and shipments according to destination and routing requirements.
- Inspect items for visible damage and report any issues promptly.
- Verify shipment labels and ensure proper placement of freight.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight as needed.
- Organize materials in designated staging and storage areas.
- Maintain accurate records of sorted and processed shipments.
- Follow safety procedures when handling freight and equipment.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Work closely with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Assist with additional warehouse and logistics tasks when required.

Pay: $21.80 - $22.60 per hour
