Summary: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Access Control & Security Technician . This position is focused exclusively on commercial projects (not residential) and involves installing, maintaining, and supporting access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Experience with identification of Access Control Door Hardware needed for producing estimates.
· Installation of Access Control Door Hardware, electrified locking hardware, mag locks, etc
· Experience with City Permits required for Access Control and filing of permits
· Able to work and communicate well with others, both over the phone and face to face
· Able to review floor plans and take direction well.
· Familiar with proper cabling techniques to accomplish installations.
· Able to work with others well like IT, cabling, and AV technicians.
· Installation of Commercial Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion
· Project Management
· Maintenance and Submission of accurate paperwork and documentation
· Customer communication throughout the job
· Installing conduit
· Installing/pulling cable and wire
· Mounting panels, field devices, power supplies
· Testing systems
· Testing and inspections with City
· 3+ years of field installation experience in the Commercial security environment: CCTV, Alarm, and Access Control
· Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
· Strong problem solving skills
· Monday- Friday Hours 7 am to 5 pm
· Hold valid and current Security License is preferred, not required
