Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager

Responsibilities include:
- Manage a complex commercial book of business
- Handle new business, renewals, endorsements, audits, claims, certificates, policy changes, cancellations, and billing questions
- Market accounts with multiple insurance carriers
- Communicate professionally with clients, producers, underwriters, and carrier partners
- Maintain accurate agency management system documentation
- Ensure renewals are completed proactively and on time
- Issue certificates of insurance, endorsements, ID cards, and related documents
- Build long-term relationships with clients through outstanding customer service
- Stay current on carrier appetites and industry changes
- Help improve workflows and agency processes
- Assist in training, coaching, and developing newer Account Managers
- Serve as a resource and leader within the commercial lines department
Required:
- 5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience in an independent insurance agency
- Active Oregon Property & Casualty License
- Strong experience with construction accounts
- Strong experience with logging accounts
- Experience marketing and placing business with multiple insurance carriers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organization and time management
- Highly detail-oriented
- Able to prioritize multiple deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude with a team-first mentality
Preferred Qualifications
- CISR, CIC, CRM, or other insurance designation
- Experience with AMS360
- Experience working with agency-billed and direct-billed policies
- Experience mentoring or training teammates
- Knowledge of contractor licensing and insurance requirements
