Boston-based educational consulting company is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. As an Educational Consultant/Interpreter/Translator, you will mentor high school students, guiding them through their academic and extracurricular development as they prepare for the college application process.

Qualifications and Skills
- Must have undergraduate or graduate degree from a university or previous experience on educational consulting
· Speak Chinese (Mandarin) and English fluently
- Major in English Literature/Translation preferred, but not required
- Superior English writing skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Organized with great attention to details
- You may start this job in a hybrid or online format, but eventually you will need to relocate to the Boston area. Depending on your experience level, you can potentially work fully remote.

Responsibilities
· Provide professional consulting services to students, including course selection, extracurricular activity suggestion, college application, and admissions navigation, and more.
· Manage academic, standardized test, and extracurricular plans, and follow up with students and parents monthly to review students’ progress
· Maintain open and regular communication with students and parents
· Perform research on extracurricular activities (volunteering, summer programs, special projects)
· Evaluate students’ application profile to communicate strategic college list to students and parents
· Brainstorm and edit summer program essays
· Translate/Interpreter academic and application documents
· Collaborate with student service team to coordinate college application process
· Other duties as assigned by Manager/ Director.
