Academic Advising at Sinclair is a collaborative effort between advisors and students. Advisors empower all students to define educational and career goals, listen to concerns, ask questions, and equip students to make informed choices to achieve their goals. This position supports the mission of the College by providing academic goal setting and advising services for students. Effective advising results in students completing milestones toward their individual academic, career, and personal goals which are consistent with the mission and goals of the College. Academic advisors and coaches may also be assigned administrative responsibilities under the leadership of a Senior Academic Advisor, Advising Manager, or Director that support the activities of the department.
The salary for this position begins at $59,661.00 and is determined commensurate with education and experience.
After in-person training, advisors in good standing may have the opportunity to work up to 40% remotely.
