We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients via phone, email, and in-person communication
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently using patient management software and EMR/EHR systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with health regulation policies and confidentiality standards
- Assist patients with insurance verifications, billing inquiries, and documentation requirements related to health insurance policies
- Support medical staff by preparing documentation, managing electronic health records (EHR), and handling administrative tasks
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and clinic policies during all interactions
- Facilitate effective communication between patients, providers, and other healthcare professionals to promote coordinated care
- Manage incoming calls professionally, providing excellent customer service and addressing patient concerns promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment conducive to efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with patient management software or EMR/EHR systems
- Knowledge of health regulation policies, medical terminology, and health insurance procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Basic typing skills for data entry and documentation purposes
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare certifications are a plus

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
