Now Hiring: Midday Youth Development Professional (TK–Kindergarten Support)
Location: Banning, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Approximately 12:00 PM–3:00 PM (school days)
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Gorgonio Pass is looking for energetic, caring, and dependable Youth Development Professionals to join our team in Banning! This unique position places you directly in elementary school classrooms, where you'll work alongside credentialed teachers to help create a positive, engaging learning environment for young students.
This isn't just classroom support. It's an opportunity to build relationships with children, encourage positive behavior, and bring learning to life through fun, hands-on activities.
What You'll Do:
- Assist credentialed teachers in TK and Kindergarten classrooms
- Lead small group activities that encourage creativity, movement, and learning
- Support students during classroom instruction and transitions
- Help reinforce positive behavior and classroom expectations
- Create a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment for every child
- Build positive relationships with students while serving as a caring role model

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children in educational, childcare, or recreational settings
- Classroom management skills
- Ability to work in a positive, supportive manner with students
- Understanding of childhood development principles
- CPR Certification (can be obtained after employment)
- Successful completion of background check, drug screening, and TB test
- Ability to pass the Instructional Aide Test (waived with 60+ college units or AA degree)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
