Position Overview
We are currently seeking to fill the role of Residential Salesman. This position will have primary responsibility for qualifying leads, preparing accurate estimates and proposals, selling residential fence systems (wood, vinyl, aluminum, chain-link, privacy, gates, etc.), and coordinating with field operations to ensure excellent customer experience from initial contact through installation. The ideal candidate understands residential construction or home-improvement sales, is comfortable closing over the phone and in-person and thrives in a target-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Communicating with inbound leads (phone, email, online) and following up with prospective customers while providing high-quality customer service
- Completing accurate estimates, takeoffs, and proposals using company estimating tools while maintaining margin guidelines
- Scheduling and conducting in-home or on-site consultations and measurements, and coordinating with field estimators as needed
- Managing the full sales process from initial contact through contract execution, including negotiating, collecting deposits, and facilitating project handoffs
- Communicating/working with operations teams, project managers, and installers to support smooth project transitions and customer satisfactions

- Previous experience or general knowledge of Fence (preferred)

Compensation: Based on experience, starting at $80,000/year.
