We are dedicated to providing the training to help our team develop their skills as Early Childhood Educators. After hire, Charlie Brown will provide continuing education classes that are required each year to include up to 20 hours of training and professional development. The successful applicant (hired) is eligible for a signing bonus after 90 days employment.
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, RELIABLE Childcare Teacher for our small class of 2 year-olds . We are a small setting childcare facility - serving ages 6 weeks to 4K. Charlie Brown Daycare and Preschool provides an enriched learning environment and creates a safe, compassionate “Home-Away-From-Home” atmosphere for our little ones.

Requirements for application:
- High School Diploma (or GED) please bring to the interview any transcripts, diplomas, credentials, and certificates, such as an ECD101 or higher credential or CDA certification
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Minimum 6 months (1 year or more desired) experience working in a Licensed Childcare Center.
- Excellent listening skills and an engaging demeanor
- Able to plan, document and coordinate an age appropriate curriculum
- Creativity, compassion, and professionalism are a must
- Willing to sing, dance, and “be silly” with the children
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are required!
- Physically able to perform tasks, including sitting on the floor, bending, and standing
- Must be regularly able to lift children weighing up to 30 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood education and development.
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a clean, safe, nurturing environment for children.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs.
- Provide individualized support to children to foster their growth.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including CPR and First Aid protocols.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and classroom management strategies.
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
