Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Lead Preschool and Toddler Teachers to join our early childhood team. The ideal candidates will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care for preschool and toddler-aged children, while collaborating with parents and staff to support each child's growth.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early learning concepts through play-based activities.
- Provide attention to each child, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively.
- Teach physical education activities that promote motor skills development and encourage healthy habits.
- Assess children's progress through informal evaluations.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development, progress, and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other co-workers to create a cohesive learning environment that supports all aspects of child development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Skills
- Strong background and experience working with children in a preschool and toddler setting.
- Proficient in lesson planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum tailored to the developmental stages of young learners.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions among students.
- Ability to teach physical education concepts effectively while promoting an active lifestyle among preschoolers and toddlers.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
