Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Set up and Operate CNC Mills and/or Lathes to produce parts to print
- Change cutting tools & inserts as needed
- Conduct in process inspections as required
- Complete basic machine maintenance such as filling fluid and changing filter
- Conduct tasks in accordance with company work instructions.
- Ensure work area is neat and clean
- Other duties as required.
- Programming and/or setup experience desired
Requirements
- 2 + years of experience operating Mills and/or Lathes.
- 2 + years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably that makes parts or product for the aerospace industry.
- Ability to read and understand blue prints, work instructions and use standard machine shop tools and gages.
- Must have great communication skills in English (both verbal & written)
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently on assignments with minimal oversight or direction.
- Ability to interact effectively with management and other team members
- Ability to work overtime as required.
