ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following are essential duties and responsibilities of the Housekeeper. The Housekeeper is expected to perform these duties and responsibilities regularly but is not limited to them.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Duties include but are not limited to general housekeeping and janitorial services in all areas of the Clubhouse.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:General housekeeping and Janitorial work, Customer Service, and able to work efficiently and courteously with members of the country club and their guests.
Customer Service:
· Assist in locker-room as needed.
· Set up tables for card playing according to member preferences.
· General duties include but are not limited to greeting members, assisting members to their chairs, opening doors and elevators, and assisting members as needed.
· Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members of the club in their locker-room, and in the main clubhouse.
Janitorial:
· Genera housekeeping and janitorial services throughout all areas of the clubhouse
· Maintain a clean and inviting locker-room.
· Vacuuming floors, including corners and floorboards.
· Must be able to move furniture in order to vacuum under and around.
· Mop bathrooms and vacuum locker-room floors.
· Clean shower walls, doors and grout using a power steamer.
· Dust moldings, tops of lockers, counter tops and polish woodwork in clubhouse.
· Will be cleaning, polishing and sanitizing restrooms, equipment
· Restocking restroom supplies, cleaning and polishing shoes.
· Sweeping the inside and outside areas of the lounge areas.
· Must be able to take inventory and place written and verbal orders in English to suppliers.
· Must be able to understand members who may experience a problem in the locker-room.
· Maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere for the members of the club in their locker-room, and in the main clubhouse.
· Assist the Maintenance Manager as needed.
Daily Janitorial Duties:
· Clean and organize sinks and counter tops.
· Clean toilets, stock toilet paper.
· Check towel supply- maintain a good supply of clean towels and put all dirty towels in dirty laundry bin.
· Mop the hard surface floors – hallways, bathrooms and kitchen areas.
· Vacuum the carpet – all carpeted areas, stairs, and under chair and couch cushions.
· Clean and organize tables and chairs.
· Dust and polish woodwork
· Clean windows/glass.
· Polish brass work throughout Club.

The position of the Housekeeper Locker-room attendant works directly under the supervision of the Housekeeping and Maintenance Supervisor and under the directive of the General Manager.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
