Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Tow Truck Flatbed Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating flatbed tow trucks to transport vehicles efficiently and securely. Duties
- Safely operate flatbed tow trucks to load, transport, and unload vehicles across various locations
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after towing to identify mechanical issues or damages
- Use automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor problems on the spot
- Load and unload vehicles carefully using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods
- Maintain accurate records of each tow including details of the vehicle, location, and condition
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during all operations
- Manage conflict situations professionally when dealing with distressed customers or challenging scenarios
Experience
- Proven experience operating tow trucks, especially flatbed models, with a strong understanding of vehicle loading procedures
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and diagnostics
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmissions preferred
- Familiarity with automotive tools such as forklifts or other lifting equipment is advantageous
- Previous experience in customer service or conflict management roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of automotive systems including brakes, engines, transmissions (manual preferred), and electrical components
- Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
