Duties
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service.
- Supervise and motivate staff, providing training on food preparation, POS systems such as Aloha or Micros, and food safety protocols.
- Manage shift schedules, monitor inventory control, and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Support staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and hospitality standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and daily financial reconciliation to maintain accuracy.
- Assist with food production tasks when necessary, including cooking, food presentation, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry or hospitality management.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros for order processing and sales tracking.
- Knowledge of inventory control, food safety management, and budgeting principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage managerial responsibilities confidently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling, shift management, and staff training.
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
