Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and cash drawer balancing with precision and integrity
- Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about store merchandise
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the store is clean, inviting, and well-merchandised
- Upsell products by recommending additional items that meet customer needs
- Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and policies to support effective sales and service
Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly manner
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Experience with POS systems and cash register operations preferred
