Responsibilities
- Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
- Deliver products promptly to retail stores, commercial clients, and other designated locations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
- Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal delivery paths and maintaining organizational skills for timely arrivals.
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication, friendly service, and attentive client interaction.
- Conduct heavy lifting and merchandise handling with proper techniques to prevent injury, including upselling additional products or services when appropriate.
- Maintain detailed delivery logs, route documentation, and compliance records in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles within retail or wholesale environments.
- Familiarity with pricing strategies, merchandising, and client communication to enhance sales opportunities.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and automobile transportation standards.
- Strong math skills for handling invoices, measurements, and basic calculations related to deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members alike.
- Prior experience in route driving, sales support, or retail store operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to demonstrate organizational skills necessary for managing multiple deliveries efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

Pay: $18.20 - $30.34 per hour
