Job Overview
Wescastle Healthcare LLC is a growing home care and home health agency currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on an as-needed/PRN basis.
Please note: We are still a small startup agency in the early stages of growth. At this time, hours will be limited and based on client needs, assessments, and agency demands. However, we are looking for someone who is interested in growing with the agency long-term as we continue expanding our services and client base.
This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys flexibility, independence, leadership, and building systems within a growing healthcare organization. The RN will play a key role in helping maintain quality care, compliance, and clinical oversight within the agency.
Responsibilities
- Complete initial nursing assessments and reassessments for clients receiving home care/home health services
- Conduct supervisory visits and routine nursing oversight for caregivers and clients
- Review and monitor client care plans to ensure quality and compliance
- Train and educate caregivers, CNAs, PCAs, and staff on client-specific care needs, infection control, safety procedures, and agency protocols
- Assist with staff competencies, orientation support, and annual training requirements
- Participate in client admissions, intake processes, and service coordination
- Monitor client conditions and communicate changes or concerns to physicians, families, and agency leadership
- Ensure documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with state regulations and HIPAA standards
- Assist with quality assurance, audits, incident follow-up, and compliance readiness as needed
- Provide guidance and clinical support to office staff and caregivers when necessary
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia
- Current CPR certification
- Previous experience in home care, home health, hospice, skilled nursing, or case management preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and professionally in home and community settings
- Familiarity with state regulations, supervisory visits, and clinical oversight preferred
- Comfortable training and supporting direct care staff
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
