A highly capable bookkeeper to oversee accounting operations across multiple business entities. This is a key position responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll and HR processes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary accounting staff member, responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple companies
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, billing, deposits, and payment processing
- Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end reporting in coordination with external accountants
- Assist with payroll processing, employee records, and HR documentation
- Maintain organized digital and physical files for financial, legal, and operational documents
- Track contracts, insurance documents, permits, and compliance items
- Handle confidential financial and personnel information with discretion
- Identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements to office systems and workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting support, or office management experience
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, and financial recordkeeping
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Professional communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with accounting and office software; QuickBooks experience is a requirement
