Position Summary:
The After Sales Specialist is responsible for providing support and supervision for retail and warranty service projects. Under the direction of the After Sales Manager, it is the After Sales Specialist responsibility to ensure world class standards are upheld throughout the process of repairing warranty and retail projects.
Duties and Responsibilities – Essential Functions
- Demonstrates teamwork through the execution of Service Schedules and Projects
- In conjunction with After Sales Service Manager, performs write-up of Repair Orders and communicates with Service Managers and others as needed to ensure timely and accurate completion of repair
- Follow and track efficiency, schedule and quality of work in progress
- Assists with ensuring that our client’s boats are being properly cared for and protected
- Assists with ensuring quality repairs performed by Service Technicians and Contractors
- Identifies, requisitions, and expedites materials required for project
- Requests and follows up on Contractor Estimates and Invoices and ensures that they are in alignment
- Works closely with the Service Coordinator to ensure proper workflow and accuracy of PO’s
- Works closely with the Parts Department to monitor parts ordered and progress of receiving parts
- Follows all safety procedures to ensure a safe workplace
- Capable and embraces working with team members in diagnosing symptoms of mechanical problems, detailing them as required and communicating with the factories via emails, drawings and any other methods that best explain the issue
- Availability for nights, weekends, special events as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Job Specifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
Experience
- Marine technical experience required
- Specific related experience with yacht manufacturer required
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in related field and/or training

Work Environment
- Work is conducted indoors and outdoors meeting with clients, yacht captains, shipyards, and ports on floating barges inspecting boats
- Operating of standard office equipment such as copy machine, laptop computer in the office setting
- Motor skills and senses include speaking, listening, comprehension, sight, typing, writing
Physical Abilities
- Walking, standing, climbing stairways, pushing and lifting up to 30 pounds
