A Cup of Heaven is seeking an experienced Event Barista to join our mobile coffee and matcha cart team. This role requires a strong background in specialty coffee, high-volume service, and espresso preparation. The ideal candidate can confidently dial in espresso, maintain consistency under pressure, and provide exceptional hospitality while serving at weddings, corporate events, private parties, and pop-up locations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality espresso beverages, matcha drinks, teas, and specialty menu items.
- Confidently dial in espresso and adjust grind settings to maintain consistency throughout service.
- Operate commercial espresso equipment efficiently in high-volume event environments.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining speed and quality.
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, and transportation of equipment and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at all times.
- Restock products and monitor inventory during events.
- Represent A Cup of Heaven professionally with clients, guests, and venue staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of specialty coffee experience required.
- Must have experience dialing in espresso and adjusting recipes as needed.
- Must be comfortable working high-volume shifts while maintaining beverage quality and speed.
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming, and beverage preparation.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in fast-paced event settings.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to various event locations.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and assist with cart setup and breakdown.

- Experience working at specialty coffee shops or mobile coffee catering companies.

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience, plus tips.
