Position Overview
Our client is seeking a
Senior Accountant to support a growing accounting team during an exciting period of growth. This individual will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives while partnering closely with Accounting Leadership.

Key Responsibilities-
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries

Perform complex account reconciliations including bank, cash, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities while meeting reporting deadlines

Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP

Review financial data, investigate variances, and provide analysis to management

Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records

Support multi-entity and/or multi-location accounting operations

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting

Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and efficiencies

Partner with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, FP&A, and Operations to ensure accurate financial reporting

Assist with ERP implementations, system enhancements, and special projects as assigned
Qualifications-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

4+ years of progressive accounting experience

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

Experience with month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, and data analysis

Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Dynamics GP/D365, SAP, Oracle, Sage, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
Preferred Qualifications-
CPA or CPA-track preferred

Experience supporting multi-entity organizations

Manufacturing, distribution, construction, healthcare, or professional services experience is a plus
-
Experience with process improvements, ERP conversions, or accounting clean-up projects is highly desired
Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
